Meet Dr. Ko

Meet our new Associate, Dr. Vivian Ko!  

  

   

Dr. Vivian Ko received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Rutgers University in 2005 and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University in 2010. She then started her dental career as a Captain in the United States Army Dental Corps. Wanting to gain more experience in all dental fields, Dr. Ko enrolled in the Army one-year advanced education program in general dentistry (AEGD) at Fort Campbell, KY. It was during this training, she discovered her love for restoring smiles and decided to pursue a specialty degree in Prosthodontics. After completing the U.S. Army’s prosthodontic residency at Fort Gordon, GA in 2015, Dr. Ko went back to the Fort Campbell AEGD and taught new generations of Army dentists in her beloved field of restorative dentistry while providing complex prosthodontic work for the local military populations. 

In 2020, After a 10-year rewarding career as an Army dentist, Dr. Ko decided to leave Federal service and enter private practice to gain more experience in serving a more diverse population. She remains affiliated with the United States Army by serving in the U.S. Army Reserves, and is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, and the American College of Prosthodontists. 

Dr. Ko is relatively new to Colorado and loves all the beautiful hiking and scenery the state has to offer. Her hobbies include traveling, cooking, and reading a good book.
